Janice Hasenfeld, Culture and Behavior Change Strategist

Janice focuses on people and culture. She is an organizational development expert who specializes in building brand-aligned cultures based on leveraging strengths around a common purpose. Janice knows how to liberate the untapped potential of an organization’s greatest asset – its people – by leveraging the power of the brand to build motivational belief and the ability to adapt.

Janice starts with understanding the whole picture of a business, and then works with leaders to define purpose and possibility. Through her training as an organizational psychologist and years as a successful business owner, she brings real-world experience and best practices proven to drive lasting business success. Her proprietary process aligns clear purpose, capabilities, brand and growth possibilities in creating a value-generating culture that drives sustainable, improved business performance in realistic ways.

Janice spent the first part of her career as a corporate banker working with diverse portfolios of companies, where she developed a broad-based knowledge and understanding of different industries and an ability to really understand how businesses operate. She specialized in “workouts” – helping companies in financial distress get back to health. She left banking to serve as CFO of a privately-owned pharmaceutical packaging company which she built from early stage through acquisition, a feat she credits to the building of a strong employee-engaged culture.

Janice holds her BA in Managerial Economics from Union College, an MA in Organizational Psychology from Hofstra University, and is an accredited Strengths Profile coach. She lives in Manhattan, enjoys boating on Long Island Sounds and is an avid traveler.
